Farmington Athletic Club
It all began in the late 1890s when an umpire yelled Play Ball! for the first time in Joe Riley's hayfield, east of Boltonville's Union Cemetery.
This storied tradition is carried on by the Farmington Athletic Club, a youth baseball and softball organization for boys and girls (ages 4 to 14) from Farmington, WI, as well the greater Kewaskum area.
Ball diamonds are located in Fillmore, behind Turner Hall, and in Boltonville, next door to the firehouse.
